Just got to upack and mount your custom grid to my 14" Lumodi beauty dish. It was a perfect fit. I loved the "spring " pressure clip you put on there, especially because you have that little flange that sticks out so I can pull the grid off! Then, the four rivet-mounted velcro strips work perfectly with the four self-stick velcro pieces you gave me to stick to the dish itself. The grid stays secure no matter what angle I have the dish. I then mounted the dish to my 580EXII (I don't use the rubber "band" Lumodi provides for this because I use Pocket Wizards which require a special anti-electromagnetic pulse "bag" over the Speedlite. Putting the rubber band on and off over this bag would be a pain. It hasn't been a problem so far...the pressure fit is enough to keep the Dish on teh Speedlite.)

The added weight made no difference. The dish held perfectly to the Speedlite.

I think you designed a winner.
